What was this project about?
Spherix is an indie video game that combines creature collection with thrilling real-time action combat in a vibrant multiplayer online open world. Players can capture, battle, evolve and customize their own creature called Spherix. They can also explore dungeons, complete quests, unveil mysteries and build the most powerful team.
This title is the first game created by independent game developer Wicked Studios and it is currently cancelled.
Members of Game Marketing XP played a pivotal role in developing the social media branding, leveraging their expertise to devise an engaging and cohesive visual identity that resonated with the target audience. In addition to this, they meticulously crafted and proposed multiple editorial calendars for their social media platforms, ensuring a strategic and consistent approach to content distribution. Their keen attention to detail and creative flair culminated in the establishment of the final look and feel of all content, maintaining a seamless and compelling brand image across various channels.

Define the image and language for social media
We defined the image and communication branding for social media channels in order to ensure a cohesive and impactful presence across various online platforms. Our goal was to create a visual identity that resonates with our target audience, effectively representing our brand’s values and message. Through careful curation of visuals, messaging, and overall aesthetics, we aimed to establish a strong and recognizable brand persona that fosters engagement and connection with our online community.

Content creation for all channels
Created a monthly calendar for all social media channels ensuring consistent and strategic communication with our audience. By highlighting the games’ value proposition and best remarks, we could effectively showcase the unique features, benefits, and user experiences that set our games apart. This approach allowed us to engage our audience with compelling content, build excitement around upcoming releases, and foster a sense of community among our followers. Through this calendar, we aimed to create a steady stream of engaging and informative posts that resonate with our target audience, ultimately contributing to the growth and success of our social media presence.

Updated devlogs, blog and news on steam page and website
We created a branding for the Steam page, devlogs, and blog to establish a constant and engaging communication with the community. Through this consistent brand identity, we aim to convey transparency, innovation, and community involvement, fostering a strong and meaningful connection with our audience.
What did we do?
Spherix was a massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) that had set its sights on a release in 2025 or early 2026. From the outset, it was a highly ambitious project, aiming to push the boundaries of online gaming and provide a truly fun and engaging experience for its players. The management team recognized the critical importance of establishing a strong and compelling brand that would resonate with the target audience, knowing that the game’s success would ultimately hinge on its ability to connect with and engage players. While the unfortunate cancellation of the game was a significant setback, the extensive groundwork that had been laid out in anticipation of its launch represented a comprehensive roadmap toward success, carefully crafted to attract and retain a dedicated user base. Despite the game’s cancellation, the dedication and preparation put into building the game’s infrastructure, gameplay, and community engagement initiatives stood as a testament to the team’s unwavering commitment to delivering an exceptional gaming experience.
